To hire foreign citizens, the employer is obliged to obtain a permit to attract foreign workers. The document is mandatory if foreign citizens arrive to Russia from visa countries. The state duty for issuing PAFW is 10,000 rubles per person. The processing time of such a permit starts from 30 calendar days.
The PAFW is issued by the migration service only after receiving a positive assessment from the Department of Labor and Employment. The basis for obtaining a positive assessment from the Department is for the employer to comply with legal requirements, for example, interviewing applicants referred by the employment center, or hiring students and people with disabilities.
PAFW should reflect the following information:
– company name
– the number of people the company is allowed to hire
– positions allowed to be employed by foreign citizens
– PAFW validity region
– PAFW validity period
Obtaining PAFW for quota positions is possible only after the employing company has received the quota. To inquire about quota commission dates and procedure, please call our specialists.
After receiving PAFW, the company can apply for a work permit, as well as prepare company registration forms and invitation.
In practice, PAFW extension cannot be done: the entire procedure should be launched from the beginning. The visa specialist processing time usually takes not less than 3 months.
